Hey, it’s October
This month is going to be another busy hectic, but fun and gratifying month filled with a variety openings, closings,reunions, monsters, beer soaked pumpkins, angry quails, mutant worms and a mural unveiling.
Stuff & things for October is as Follows:
All of these opening and closing receptions are on the 10th of October, times vary, click on the gallery links to get the correct info for the time.
Closing reception for Studio X show, which is also serving as a after party for the mural unveiling and maybe by coincidence the 1020 show as well.
Himovitz Show 1020 Show, the 15 year anniversary of the death of Michael Himovitz and is a celebration of the gallery and the man who created it. This show is boasting an amazing array of artists from the Himovitz stable assembled for the first time in years. 1020 will probably be one of the best art shows in Sacramento for the month of October.
Blue Lamp one of Sacramento’s premiere music venues, which also features art work, on the bill is Mark Fox, Andy Langford, Dolan Forcier and more! This show should provide a nice ambience for a lot of great shows in October! Opening reception is 5-7 p.m.
Unveiling of the M.B.A. mural project (Furlow Furrows), read more about this mural project which was really fun to create and is very large. We should also have a Paul Imagine limited edition commemerative poster available at the opening; the line drawing for the poster is awesome and can be seen on the mural photos link. Opening reception is 2-6 p.m.
Instinct Gallery, Great gallery, cool people, this show is in the the city of Des Moines, IA. and the show October Halloween themed show, and judging by the line up it should kick ass, if you live close by, do yourself a favor and check it out! Creepy Crawlies Show

Tangent Gallery Trade and Transformations how, the Tangent Gallery is a totally cool venue featuring a show that is curated to to be viewed with flashlights, this event will be a lot of fun.
